Webinar: Understanding Fastener Materials – Beyond the Basics

01/23/2015 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

This webinar will provide the fastener professional with a solid understanding of what fasteners are made of, how they are processed, and why.
It is appropriate for end users, suppliers, purchasing, sales, quality assurance and management staff. Going well beyond the basics, we will delve into some of the most popular fastener specifications to see what exactly these products are made of, what their strengths and weakness are and how they are used, misused and abused. We will also cover some non-specification fastener materials that are important to know about.

This interactive webinar, Understanding Fastener Materials, could easily be the most important and useful 90 minutes of technical training you can receive on fasteners this year. A technical background is helpful but not necessary for this program. In the interest of time, this webinar will not go in depth on basic materials terminology, however all attendees will receive a PDF Glossary of Technical Terms for study beforehand and to refer to during the webinar. You will receive real-world fastener applications specific training – not just esoteric metallurgical concepts. Click here to register
