The Fastener Training Institute® with Bengt Blendulf of EduPro U.S., is proud to present a new training course, Fastening Technology & Bolted/Screwed Joint Design. In 2010 this course will be offered in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago and Los Angeles. Click here for more information and to register for this event.
This technical two-day course was created to give design, manufacturing, and quality engineers along with industrial technicians a thorough grounding in the complexities of mechanical joining with fasteners. This seminar will provide information on the most current specifications, techniques and guidelines. Click here for details on the 2010 course content.
"Any engineer who designs, tests or assembles bolted joints should take this class at least once (as early as possible) in their career. The instructor knows what he's talking about, has vast experience, engages the class and keeps everyone's attention." Brian Whalen, Naval Research Laboratories
The Fastener Training Institute® in partnership with the Industrial Fasteners Institute again offered a successful week-long intensive version of FTI’s Certified Fastener Specialist™ advanced technical training program, July 19-23, 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. Attendance was increased over the 2009 program and 95% of the students said they would recommend this training to others in the industry.
What some of our attendees had to say:
"Very professional and organized. Good job!"
"The instructors are great with endless knowledge. There is so much to learn from them."
"The plant tours were very interesting and the presentation regarding hydrogen embrittlement was very informative."
This technical training program will be offered again in 2011, July 25-29 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Fastener Training Institute®/IFI includes everything that a student would experience in the regular seven-course CFS™ training, but all on consecutive days. Midwest fastener companies save on travel expenses and days missed by sending attendees to Cleveland instead of Los Angeles for technical training. CFS™ training is finished in 5 days instead of over several months. And fastener association members received substantial discounts on registration fees.
