This webinar will demonstrate at least four different ways to properly determine the torque for any fastener, and how to present this information to your customer in the most appropriate fashion.

You will learn the fundamentals of using torque tooling, and you will find out about some other ways to properly tighten a fastener that do not use torque measurement.

What are the most common torque related fastener installation problems and how to diagnose and fix them.

You will learn about the inch an metric standards that govern torque-tension, and why things like washers, coatings and bearing surfaces are so important to reliable tightening.

Most importantly, You will learn how nuts and bolts work – how does TORQUE become TENSION in a bolted joint anyway? And how can we measure it?
